While hot tubs were previously limited to select units, every single geodesic dome at The Overlook now features its own private hot tub. Now, “Spa Seekers” don’t have to choose. Whether you’re in Cloud Chaser, Hickory Heights, or any of our other ridgetop neighbors, your dream of soaking under the Kentucky stars after a day of hiking is a guaranteed part of your stay. The Ultimate Escape: Bluegrass Bluff (001)

For those who want to feel like the only people left on earth, Bluegrass Bluff sits at the very end of the line. It remains our most secluded spot, offering a totally unobstructed view of the Kentucky horizon. If your goal is total privacy and an “edge of the world” feeling, this is your dome.

The Path to The Point

The heart of the property is The Point. To get there, you’ll follow the path past Blackhawk (our modern cabin neighbor). This is what we call the “Grand View.”

The Point is a communal space designed for life’s big moments — whether that’s a morning yoga session, a sunset toast, an engagement, or simply standing at the edge of the ridge to see the Gorge in all its glory. It’s the furthest point of our ridgetop, and it’s all yours to enjoy.
